Her early successes in the arts of performing, and which is now known as Maureen O'Hara, would certainly be a qualifier for the "child prodigy" category. This was a very natural trait for a girl from Irish origin, and that was surrounded during her early years by talented family members as well as parents. Maureen came to this loving haven, August 17, 1920. She was raised by her parents and family members. Marguerita LIlburn FitzSimons is the mother of her. She was a skilled contralto. Charles FitzSimons ran a Dublin firm, as well as held shares of the Irish Shamrock Rovers soccer club. Maureen was the second of six FitzSimons children. Peggy, Florrie, Charles B. Fitzsimons, Margot Fitzsimons and James O'Hara completed this beautiful family. Maureen excelled as a sportswoman and participated in rough, competitive games as a child.
